Brand Diagnostic
A multidimensional competitive benchmarking assessment that measures how your brand is contributing to — or dragging on — your revenue velocity.
RIO is Revelocity.ai's Revenue Performance Model — a structured approach to closing the revenue gap using the tools and teams you already have. It calculates your Revenue Velocity Score (RVS) — a composite metric built from four diagnostic dimensions, each carrying equal weight at 25%: Brand, Product-Market Fit, Revenue Opportunity, and Price Position. The Brand Diagnostic produces a Brand Score (0–100) that reflects how effectively your brand is generating pipeline, accelerating win rates, and compressing sales cycles.

The composite score RIO produces — built from four diagnostic dimensions, each weighted equally at 25%
One of four equally-weighted RVS dimensions at 25% — scored 0–100 based on the average of five top-3-box dimension scores
Five dimensions. One aggregate score.
The Brand Diagnostic measures brand strength across five dimensions using a structured survey methodology. Each dimension is scored using a top-3-box methodology: respondents rate on a 0–10 scale, and the percentage of respondents giving a score of 8, 9, or 10 is converted to a whole-number dimension score (e.g., 78.2% becomes 78). The five dimension scores are then averaged equally to produce the Brand Diagnostic Score — which becomes the Brand Score in your RVS.
Familiarity
Aided and unaided brand awareness — whether target buyers know your brand exists, can recall it unprompted, and can accurately describe what you do.
Performance
Perceptions of product and service delivery quality — whether your brand is seen as delivering on its promises relative to alternatives.
Commitment & Engagement
The depth and quality of the relationship between buyers and your brand — including trust, emotional connection, and active engagement with your content and community.
Purchase Consideration
The likelihood that target buyers would include your brand in an active evaluation or switch to you from a current provider.
Advocacy
The degree to which existing customers and market participants actively recommend your brand to peers — the NPS-equivalent dimension of the Brand Diagnostic.
From five dimensions to one RVS score.
Brand Score = (Dim 1 + Dim 2 + Dim 3 + Dim 4 + Dim 5) ÷ 5 | Each dimension = top-3-box % (scores 8–10) converted to a whole number
The Brand Score (0–100) carries 25% weight in your overall Revenue Velocity Score — equal to each of the other three diagnostic pillars.
Brand is a category leader — protect and amplify
Above average — targeted investment can push to leadership
At or below category average — active improvement needed
Significant drag on revenue velocity — priority remediation required
Brand is effectively invisible or actively damaging pipeline
You vs. the competition.
The Brand Diagnostic is administered as a competitive benchmarking instrument. Respondents rate your brand and up to four named competitors on the same five dimensions — giving you absolute scores, a relative index vs. your top competitor, and your position vs. the category average.
Dimension Score
Each dimension's top-3-box percentage (share of respondents rating 8, 9, or 10) converted to a whole number (0–100)
Competitive Gap
Your score vs. your top competitor — revealing where you lead and where you're losing ground
Category Average
Your position relative to the field — showing whether you're above or below market norms
RVS Brand Score
The aggregate score (0–100) that feeds directly into your Revenue Velocity Score
